One of the main questions I'm constantly asked. A little bit of background on the breed first:
French Bulldogs, otherwise known as “Frenchies,” are known for their bat ears and exotic colors. The standard colors are considered to be: white, cream, fawn, brindle, piebald, ticked, and/or any combinations of those. Exotic or "fad" colors are considered to be blue, black, chocolate, Merle, Isabella, lilac, and the infamous fluffy, which is fairly new to the breed.
Frenchies have an average life expectancy of 10-14 years and are ranked as one of the top five dogs to own right now. With an average weight being 16-28 lbs, the French bulldog is considered a small dog breed with a lot of personality. They are stubborn, playful, affectionate, adaptable, protective, and more. They are great with other dogs and children too!
If you're ready to have a dog full of personality, random gremlin noises, and the occasional instances of zoomies, then you are ready for a French bulldog. They are a hilarious addition to your family that will always keep you on your toes!
